Research - Rehabilitation - Re-Employment

Welcome
to the
Blinded American Veterans Foundation web site. For more information about us, select the Who We Are  link. This site is dedicated to the dissemination of information to all veterans with sensory disabilities.

Our Flag Week page has three videos from our year 23rd Annual George "Buck" Gillispie Congressional Awards events held earlier this year.

Each year the BAVF sponsors a special project to support the Visual Impairment Services Team (VIST) programs by providing grants. The Non Commissioned Officers Association (NCOA) National Defense Foundation had joined BAVF to sponsor its Annual Financial Grant Program. Fifty one (51) Grants valued at $500 each had been provided to be used to support VIST programs. Click here to see the list of the year 2007 recipients.

Some pictures from our year 2007 Flag Day Congressional Awards Reception are now online.

A listing of Veterans' benefits by state that was emailed to us. It is reported to be accurate as of 2007. We apologize for the graphical nature of this information, it was sent to us as a Microsoft Power Point file.
